Retired—but not idle!
After years of meetings, deadlines, and full calendars, I finally retired. But as it turns out, retirement doesn’t mean sitting still. I’ve always had a passion for working with wood and construction—whether it was building custom furniture, renovating rooms, or even flipping a house.
When I found myself with too much free time (and, let’s be honest, spending all day at home with my wife), I knew I needed a productive outlet—a little “marriage saver,” if you will. So I went back to what I love: building, creating, and getting my hands dirty. Now, I spend my days in the shop, turning raw wood into something beautiful and functional.
Retirement? Best job I’ve ever had.
